Dr. Gloria Wu, a Harvard University and Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons graduate, is a board-certified Ophthalmologist. She completed her Ophthalmology Residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital and Retina-Vitreous fellowship at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, affiliated with Harvard Medical School. Dr. Wu has authored three textbooks focusing on the Retina and Ophthalmology, and she has received two teaching awards from the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Gloria Wu is actively involved in advancing women's representation in medical leadership roles. She is the President-Elect of the Santa Clara County Medical Association and serves as the Co-President of the South Bay American Medical Women's Association. Dr. Wu has been elected to the Governing Council of the American Medical Association's Women Physicians Section and appointed to the Board of the American Medical Women’s Association.
